Best Diet for a Budget
You mean I don't have to spend $300+ per month on groceries for a family of two?
This post at Cheapskate Monthly made me think about how much I'm currently eating.
These days it's really hard to afford to go on a diet. I mean have you
checked out Jenny Craig? Well, I have found a great diet that doesn't cost very much, it's called being poor. Also known as poverty. Exercise works, too. I lost 28 pounds this way.Tom Reed
I've recently found myself snacking throughout the day, mostly from boredom. During Spring Break, last week, I ate nearly three whole 2-pound bags of dried mangoes, 1.5 pounds of Cheez-Its, assorted other snack foods, and ate out twice at moderately-expensive restaurants. I used to be such a cheapskate that I couldn't stomach (pun intended) the thought of spending that much money on food, but it seems I've become desensitized to how much I spend on unnecessary food.
So, cut back on food intake and save money as well as lose weight. Common sense, but sometimes you forget the simple things.
