Improve your worth with education

I'm in between final exams at college right now, taking a breather, so I thought I'd write about why I'm going through the ordeal of going to college. I'm in a Navy program that is paying me to go to school, and it's a sweet deal. I go to school, and the Navy pays me to become educated. To me, education is a means to an end. When I get good grades, I get more money. When I graduate, I'll make even more money, all because I'll be educated.

So, what can you do to make yourself worth more, to your employer or to yourself? Go to a seminar or two and learn some new skills. Take a semester at college, or even earn your MBA. Whatever your financial goals, education can help you further them. And I don't mean just formal education. Some of the most valuable education I've had so far, I've bought in the form of a course on the Internet. I made thousands in real estate because I decided to become more educated about it.

If you know what you want, you can get it faster with education. Think about it, and then go ahead and learn more about it.
